Praxisrelevantes Grundlagenwissen für den Bereich Im- und Export
Many learners of Commercial or Business English find it frustrating and limiting that the informative background of the basic business concepts is often missing in their courses. They have some knowledge of Betriebswirtschaftslehre or Handelslehre in German but would not know how to convey these ideas in English. And above all, they do not know how the British and American systems work. The course “Englische Betriebswirtschafts- und Handelslehre” provides you with this background information, teaches you the basic business concepts, introduces you to the British and American systems, expands your knowledge of business terminology, and improves your skills in reading comprehension. In several selftesting sections and your homework tasks you will also be able to train your skills in written English. Who is this course aimed at? Advanced learners of Commercial or Business English; employees (with a sound knowledge of English) in companies doing business with firms in the U.K. and/or the USA; foreign language correspondents; trainee translators; students and teachers of Business Administration, Economics and/or English; advanced learners of English with a particular interest in the subject et al. What is the content of this course? It is a monolingual course written in English; the terminology is explained in English.
